Cheezy entry or not, I'm always amazed at God's goodness and providence for bringing my world and Vincent's together. The following pictures were on our slide show at our wedding. Not many people got to see it becuase it was located off to the side of the dance floor (the rest of the pictures are on my flickr account). Every time I see these, I'm in awe at how both of our lives were worlds apart, yet God had the will to bring us together. God is good. I hope that our union is an amazing example that He can do anything...or at the least, that I'm continually reminded of it as I seek Him everyday.

Surgeon General's Warning:
I was surfing the net for images to use for a project and I came across a site that traces Camel Adds from its beginning.
I’ve always been interested in the history of advertisement. Not just for the sake of its visual means but in how they are molded by the culture around them; and at the same time they define the cultural norm. The science of advertisement is cut throat - they want your attention just with in a glance and they want you to buy, the glance there after.
Anyways, here are some images tracing the history of the beloved Turkish Blend.
1920's - This is when they started advertising toward young women, until then some states did not allow women to smoke at all.
Camel begins to use real photo's to make it more believable and athelets to "promote a healthy image".

Party Central
It's party season. Vincent and I went to the "Christmast sweater-cocktail-cooking decorating-white elepahnt gift exchange-party". We covered all grounds by being at this party.
Emily and I ran around all day in preparation for this party. Em, I think our shirts turned out after all the craziness...we had bought these iron-letters, which ended up ruining our shirts. So in the final count down till the party, Emily ran to Walmart, picked up new materials, I cut the letters out and we sewed "Ho" on our sweaters...completing them seconds before the party. Totally tedious.

Anyways, who cares about the sweaters when Vincent and I ended up drawing these two lovely bottles as our white elephant gifts. Off course, as white elephant rules goes, our joys where stolen from us as the latter gift exchangers snatched it away. We ended up with band aids, stuffed fish and christmas lights.

The truth of the matter is, I listen to these albums, that Vincent reviews, for a week straight.
So I do hope that some of you are enjoying these articles,
for the sake of my pain of listening to these albums over and over and over...
and all I want to do is put on 'A Charlie Brown Christmas'.
